How to Make the Spicy Cream Cheese Sausage Ball Dough
In a large mixing bowl combine 1 pound hot sausage, 8 ounces cream cheese that has been softened, 10 ounces diced tomatoes with green chilies, 1 ½ cups Bisquick™, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cup shredded Monterey cheese, and 2 tablespoons Chugwater Chili Seasoning (note if you want it extra spicy you can use our Hot Chili Seasoninginstead of our original blend.)
Mix until ingredients become a dough. You can do this by mixing with a spatula, your hands, or an electric mixer with a dough attachment.
Make sure all ingredients are blended well.
Note: If you want to make these gluten free you can use a gluten free Bisquick™ instead of regular Bisquick™.
Making the Sausage Balls
Take the sausage dough and roll it into about 1-inch-sized balls. You can make these sausage balls in whatever size you wish. If they are larger they will take longer to cook.
Place on a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with cooking spray or lined with parchment or foil. Lining your baking sheet helps with clean up.

Bake at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes or until the sausage balls become golden brown on top.
