How to Season Chicken Breasts
For this recipe, you have a few different options for seasoning your chicken breasts. Our favorite option is to place the 4 chicken breasts in a storage bag with the 3 Tbs of olive oil and 2 rounded Tbs of Chugwater Chili Dip & Dressing Mix. Shake the bag so that the chicken breasts become covered in the seasoning. You can also baste the breasts with olive oil then sprinkle the seasoning onto both sides of the chicken breasts. Now you can let it marinate for 15 minutes or just start grilling. Letting the chicken breasts marinate helps the flavors of the dip seasoning flavor the meat.
Grilling Chicken Breasts
Heat your grill to 350 degrees. Make sure to clean your grill off before you start grilling. Place the chicken breasts on the grill. Cook for about 7 minutes on one side then flip and cook the other side for another 7 minutes. Make sure the chicken is cooked through to 165 degrees. If you do not have a thermometer slice into the chicken breast and see if it looks pink or has turned a white color to indicate it is done. If the chicken breasts are not fully thawed when you grill them they will need to cook longer.
