Green Chile Cheese Bombs

These green chile cheese bombs are a fun cheesy and gooey treat to serve with your favorite meals or soups. Our green chili seasoning helps add some extra spice and flavor to this recipe. These will become a new favorite to make and serve with your meals or even as a snack or appetizer.

Instead of sticking with traditional slices of bread or rolls, you can switch it up with a variety of fun infusions from different cheeses to maybe adding in some meat or veggies to the recipe. Our green chile cheese bomb recipe brings together cheesy goodness with the spice of green chile flavors. Our green chili seasoning adds a little extra kick of flavor to this recipe. They are quick, easy, and convenient to make. Plus can be served in many different ways. These green chile cheese bombs have a buttery biscuit outer layer that when you bite into you are greeted with green chile cheesy deliciousness. 

Seasoning the Green Chilies 

In a small bowl, mix together 4 ounces of mild diced green chilies with 1 teaspoon of Chugwater Chili Green Chili Seasoning. Mix until diced green chilies are coated in the seasoning. If you want them to be spicier you can use hotter green chilies. 

Stuffing the Biscuit Dough 

Flatten out a biscuit dough round. 

In the center add a small amount of the seasoned diced green chilies and a big pinch of Monterey jack cheese. If you want some extra heat then you can use pepper jack cheese instead. 

Fold the sides up and pinch them together to create a pouch in the middle holding the green chilies and cheese. Flip to where the pinched side is on the bottom and place on a baking sheet. 

Baking the Green Chile Cheese Bombs 

Bake at 350 degrees for about 20-30 minutes or until the tops become golden. If you want you can baste the tops with butter. 

Serving the Green Chile Cheese Bombs 

This green chile cheese bomb recipe is super easy to serve. Serve them warm with your favorite soup or meal or even just enjoy them as a fun cheesy snack. They can be served at parties or potlucks. You can even make them ahead of time and then reheat them to enjoy later. Or even freeze them and heat them when you need them.
