Chili Lime Fruit Salad

This easy chili lime fruit salad is an unexpectedly flavorful fruit salad recipe. Our chili seasoning added to a sweet lime dressing creates a fun and refreshing flavor in this salad. It will become a fun new recipe that you can enjoy any time of the year. 

Chili Lime Fruit Salad in Bowl

Salads are a fun way to either get in your vegetable intake or your fruit intake. There are so many different combinations of vegetables you can do or fruits. They are so fun to create new meals with. Fruit salads are a fun way to get in a variety of fruits but are also great to take to parties and potlucks. They are colorful, and creative, and can be enjoyed year-round. There are also so many different fruit salads you can make from a creamy apple snicker fruit salad to a fruit salad with melons, grapes, and pineapple. There are so many fun ways to make them. Or you can even eat them as desserts. Salads are also great because you can make a big batch and share with friends and family or meal prep with them. 

Our chili lime fruit salad is a fun, crazy, and delicious recipe. Our chili seasoning when made into a chili lime dressing adds a spicy and sweet flavor to this salad recipe. Pair it with mango, pineapple, cantaloupe, and watermelon and you have quick and easy tropical fruit salad. It is a fun and unexpected flavor combination that is also really tasty. 

Making the Chili Lime Dressing

In a small bowl, combine  2 rounded tablespoons of Chugwater Chili Seasoning or Chugwater Chili Hot Chili Seasoning if you want it spicier, 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, and ¼ cup lime juice this can be prepared lime juice out of a bottle or freshly squeezed lime juice. 

Whisk until smooth. Make sure to get any powdered sugar clumps out. 

Combining the Chili Lime Fruit Salad 

In a medium bowl, combine 4 cups diced pineapple, 4 cups diced watermelon, 3 cups diced cantaloupe, and 1 large mango diced. You want to make sure that the fruit is diced into bite-sized pieces. Other fruits that can be used are papaya and honeydew.  Mix the fruit together. 

Add the chili lime dressing to the fruit and mix until the fruit is coated in the dressing. 

Let sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together. This allows the dressing to soak into the fruit and gives it extra flavor. 

Serving Chili Lime Fruit Salad

This fruit salad is easy to serve and goes great with a variety of main dishes. It is great with sloppy joes, grilled meats, casseroles, and more. It can be taken to potlucks and parties. This is a fun tropical fruit salad that is flavorful and great any time of the year.
