Making Chugwater Chili

In a medium pot, brown 2 pounds ground beef and drain the excess fat.

Stir in 3 rounded tablespoons Chugwater Chili Seasoning or Chugwater Chili Hot Chili Seasoning if you want it spicier.

Then add a 15-ounce can of tomato sauce and 15 ounces of water. I usually rinse the tomato sauce can with water and add that to the pot. This helps clean the leftover tomato sauce out of the can and allows you to use all of the sauce in the chili.  Bring to a boil. While stirring so you do not burn it. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add in two 15-ounce cans of pinto beans undrained and return to a simmer.

If you want the chili thicker then add less water or drain the pinto beans.

Assembling Chili Cheese Fries

Bake or fry your favorite fries until they are golden and crispy.

Layer some fries on a plate.

Add your desired amount of shredded cheese.

Top with Chugwater Chili.

Then you can add more cheese on top if you want them cheesier.
