This parmesan potato recipe is inspired by the viral TikTok recipe that we have all seen videos and tutorials on. We change this recipe by adding our southwest ranch dip mix seasoning to the butter and parmesan cheese. The garlic and onion in our dip mix seasoning pairs well with parmesan cheese and butter to create a easy-to-make flavorful treat. These are also really easy to make and go with a variety of meals.
Preparing the Potatoes
Take about 8-10 small potatoes and wash them. Then slice the potatoes in half lengthwise. You do not need to peel the potatoes. When you use the small mini potatoes they usually have a thinner skin.
Slice the bottom of the potatoes in a cross-hatch pattern. This is so at the seasoned parmesan butter soaks into the potatoes.
Making the Buttery Parmesan Mixture
In a baking dish mix together 1 stick of melted butter, 1 cup grated parmesan cheese, and 2 tablespoons Chugwater Chili Dip & Dressing Mix. This will be the base of the parmesan potatoes. You will leave this parmesan butter mixture on the bottom of the baking dish.
Baking the Potatoes
Place the potatoes in the pan on top of the parmesan cheese mixture. You want to put the cut side down so that it soaks up the parmesan, butter, and seasoning. The round side will be facing up. You can melt a little extra butter and brush the top of the potatoes with it.
Bake at 425 degrees for 40 minutes or until the potatoes have softened. Now you are ready to serve these potatoes.
