It’s very tasty. My husband‘s family grew up around Wheatland and chug water so he was glad to have good memory connections and a familiar taste of Chuck cherry that he knew as a kid.
It is the Best Chili seasoning we have ever used. Four years ago on our way from Texas to Whitefish Montana we stopped in Chugwater Wyoming where we went into the Chugwater store. We have been using many of the different products including the hot chili and green chili products. In the last 2 weeks my husband ordered green chili powder and I ordered 4 original chili seasonings ( 2 for my daughter) and more of the hot chili seasoning. Last night made a big pot of pinto beans using the above product. Used 2 red jalepenos and 1 serano for extra heat! It is always great. The customer service is amazing. One of my orders went to my old address. They immediately send another order to me the same day. Nice, Nice, people.
So easy to make the best chilli ever. I use a can of Manwich instead of the tomato paste. Been using for about 6 years.
These are terrific. Just a nice little kick if you like caramels these are worth checking out.

20 years ago I was stationed in WY. I drove North one day just to explore. Hit a little town called Chugwater and stopped into a small mobile home to buy this chili seasoning. I've been buying a pound a year ever since. One of my best discoveries!
